Angelo Falcon, Founder, National Institute for Latino Policy (NiLP)

New York, NY – It was an exciting evening for all attendees at the 32BJ Headquarters in the Chelsea neighborhood, with the exception of  ”Roastee” Angelo Falcon, Founder of the National Institute for Latino Policy (NILP).  This much anticipated evening was a gathering of some of NYC’s most influential politicians, union leaders, journalists and community activists.  Whether friend or foe, everyone acknowledges the role of Mr. Falcon, as an staunch advocate for the political and socioeconomic advancement of the Latino Diaspora.

After three decades of being coined a “Political Agitator” or most commonly, a “General Pain in the Derrière” to those in positions of power,  NiLP continues to serve as the independent voice of the Latino community; an attribute that Angelo can attest to considering that the organization has never accepted government funds to support their research.
